HMD Global launches Nokia 2 with 212 snapdragon processor which seems pretty old processor for 2017.

With the launch of Nokia 2, HMD Global is planning to tap into the ultra-cheap smartphone segment and increase its market share in the country. The smartphone is priced at Euro 99 (Rs 7,500 approximately) and will be available in selected markets, including India from mid-November.
The Nokia 2 will compete with Xiaomi Redmi 4, Redmi 4A and Moto C Plus in the market. It comes with a 4,100mAh battery that is claimed to deliver two days of battery backup.
Nokia 2: Specifications & features
The Nokia 2 features a 5-inch HD display with a contrast ratio of 13000:1 and comes protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box and is upgradable to Android Oreo. Just like other Nokia smartphones, the Nokia 2 is also scheduled to receive regular firmware and security upgrades.
The new Nokia 2 smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 212 processor which is 2 and 1/2 year old processor clocked at 1.3 ghz.

It has 1GB of RAM, Adreno 304 GPU and 8GB of built-in storage. It comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, 5-megapixel selfie-camera and is powered by a 4,100mAh battery.

The phone has a polycarbonate back and will be available in Black, White and Copper colour options.
